President Ruth made up in Rockport
Rotarians can now make up on line. Check out www.rotaryeclubone.org , allow yourself 30 minutes to complete the makeup and make sure you print off a receipt of having completed your on line makeup. Please hand your receipt to Carole Sharoff in order for the attendance records to be adjusted.
Birthdays and Anniversaries
Rick Doucette celebrated his birthday this week. Sal Fronterio celebrated a wedding anniversary. Bruce Horne is celebrating 25 "wonderful" years of marriage. Greg Bover is celebrating 31 years working for CB Fisk and Company.
Vacations
Bruce Horne spent 4 days in Florida. Eric Noble enjoyed a week off work in Gloucester. Sinikka Nogelo spent one night at New Hampshire's Newfound Lake. Barry Pett was in "fireworks mode," spending 18 hours at Stage Fort Park setting up the display. The fireworks were spectacular, Barry. John Dugger was happy to be sailing in Gloucester Harbor during the Schooner Festival last week. Sal Fronterio wins all kinds of dad points for taking his children to Santa's Storyland in New Hampshire during the past summer.
Happy Thoughts
Brad Pierce was happy his wife lost 25 lbs. The occasion was marked with a bouquet of roses with a card that read "you know who." (Most everyone knows Brad has taken credit for the flowers.) Brad - next go around, you need to be a little more specific. Roger Hussy was happy to lead the club in song today. Greg Bover was happy to have spent the weekend on the water. Rick Doucette was happy the Around the Cape Road Race went very well. David Slade enjoyed the comedy show. David was also happy to have his daughter and grandchild visiting. David's other daughter is celebrating a wedding anniversary. Ruth Pino was happy to have filled Cruiseport for the Comedy Show in this down economy. John Dugger was happy to welcome another architect to his company. Dave Stotzer was happy to have clean water come into his house.
Fines
President Ruth fined Rotarians who have not paid for their Pancake Breakfast place-mat ad. Rotarians who did not attend the Comedy Night were fined today.

Here’s Lunch for the next several weeks
September 15 Spaghetti and sauce and meatballs, salad. Dessert is spumoni.
September 22 Beef stew with salad and bread. Apple crisp with whipped cream.
September 29 Chicken Dijon with spinach, rice, salad. Dessert will be blueberry cobbler with whipped cream.
