Dates to Remember: Brad Pierce has done a great job organizing this year's Past President's Banquet. The date is Thursday September 30, at The Hearthside in Essex. Cocktails and a group photo are at 5:30 and dinner at 6:00 PM. Cost is $28.00 per person. Past Presidents are being asked to speak briefly about 1) the most memorable moment of their year, and 2) the funniest incident that occurred during their presidency.
Northeast Health Foundation's golf tournament to benefit Addison Gilbert and Beverly Hospital needs help to fill out the field of players. On Monday, September 20th four teams are needed. On Tuesday, September 2st, 13 teams are needed to completely fill out the field. The game will be played at the Bass Rocks Golf Club. Please call Amy Sullivan at 978-236-1600 to sign up.
September 23 is the date for the Gloucester / Rockport Rotary Golf Match. This is highly significant grudge match (take no prisoners!) but it is all in fun. Check with our chief Grudge Master David McKechnie and his two partners in crime, Bruce Horne and Bob Ryan, for details.
